Tri City Christmas!

The last two years we've gone to Kaysville to Tri City to see Santa, and go on the hayride. Statton loved sitting on Santa's lap. He let Santa know he wants a bike. Azlynn didn't really care to see Santa. She freaked out, she just wanted to eat her cookies. The kids loved the reindeer, they were so cute!

Last Wednesday my Dad, Mom, Sister, and I went down to the University of Utah Hospital to get my Dad's Cochlear implant turned on (hearing device). He was so excited, he was dressed quit nice. I asked him why he was dressed up? He said this was a very special occasion, he wanted to wear his suit but my Mom put a stop to that. :)

They put all of us in this sound proof room and started explaining things to my Dad. Lots of information, but we were just excited for when they "turned him on". At first they told him that he would start to hear beeps, and to let them know when it gets to loud. We sat there for what seemed like forever, and finally Dad said yes I can hear it. He said it was very soft, so they turned it up to a level two. You could just tell by his facial expressions that he was hearing. Within minutes I couldn't believe how quite he started talking. Every two weeks he will go back to get his hearing device turned up, and learn all the cool things he can do with it. It was so awesome, I'm so excited for my Dad, and I'm glad it all worked out good.

When we were leaving my Dad made sure to talk to everyone to let them know he can hear. He was making jokes with one of the ladies when we left, and she was laughing at him. When we started leaving we walked out in the hall, and my Dad says I can still hear her laughing at me. :)

On the way home me a my Sister we in the back seat, and I kept hearing my Dad say to my Mom I can hear them talking. Will see how long my Dad enjoys hearing, because remember he does have the option to turn it off whenever he wants!

Special Day!

We had a great day on Saturday, my dad baptized Bobby. I'm so proud of him. The spirit was so strong. There were wonderful speakers who gave amazing talks. I'm so thankful for Bobby, and the example he is being. I hope you always remember that day, and how special it was. Even though you were dunked three times:) I love you so much Bobby! Thank you for being a good example to our kids! We love you:)

On Sunday Bobby was confirmed a member of the church. Curtis Black confirmed him, and gave a wonderful blessing! It means so much to us that there are people who care so much about other peoples happiness.

Azlynn loves her brother's spiderman slippers! She looks so cute in them. She just walks around the house like she's the cutest princess ever!

1st Day of Pre School


Statton started Pre School today! Wow I cant believe I have a child already going to Pre School. He was so excited, He was packing his backpack with all sorts of toys and books. I had to tell him to leave them home, there would be plenty of toys and books at his school. He did really good when he got there, he didn't want to take of his backpack. After seeing all the other children putting away there backpacks, he was ok with taking his off. Once he did that he went right in to the circle with everyone, and put his name up on the board. He didnt even look back to see what I was doing. I just left, I think our Big Boy will do just fine!

Ahhhh.... finally! Statton went potty for the 1st time in his toilet. I'm so proud of him, hopefully this is the first to many more celebrations on the potty!

I cant believe you are already three years old. It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital holding you for the first time. You are so full of life, your personality is contagious, and your smile steals my heart everytime you look at me. I love every morning that you come in to my room, and tell me that you love me so much! I love watching you play with your Dad. You are such a good brother, Azlynn loves watching everything you do, and tries to be just like you!

Brigham City Pool!

We had so much fun at the pool. It was great to get away and play. Statton is our little fish, he loves the water. Azlynn is a little different, she just likes to sit at the edge and get her little feet in and look pretty! Uncle Curt was here visiting from Idaho, Statton had so much fun with him.

New Haircut!

Statton decided he needed a haircut. Yes, that is a buzz right down the middle of his head. He had just woke up for his nap and had a horrible runny nose. He went into the bathroom, I thought he was blowing his nose. Like a minute later he comes running out saying Mommy look at my hair. I was far away so I really couldn't see. I thought he had lotion in it, as I got closer I realized he had cut it. I about died, seriously I couldn't believe he had done that. I started crying then I realized Shandi, it's only hair IT WILL GROW BACK! The funny thing is after he did it he laid on the couch for like half an hour with the pillow over his head. He wouldn't even show Dad. Then he had to wear a hat for the rest of the day. I guess he'll be wearing a hat till it grows back, luckily his hair grows fast!

Lava Hot Springs

We always have so much fun going on our annual Lava Hot Springs trip. The kids had so much fun just playing on the tubes, next year we said will just rent them everyday so the kids will keep entertained!

Azlynn would drink any drink she could get her hands on! She doesn't quite understand that when you tip up the can it will go all over you! Sticky pop and dirt = very sticky dirty child!

Grandpa set up a dish washing station, so we would have a place to wash everything. The kids loved helping Grandpa.

Azlynn is so hard to watch, she seriously takes off in two seconds and will be clear down the road. She doesn't turn to see if your watching her or not, she just go's. So I was so stressed with all the big trucks backing there trailers in and out. So I decided to tie her up. (Does that sound bad?) I put her on a really long rope, so she had a pretty good range of where she could walk. I didn't feel to bad though, she actually liked it!!

Happy Father's Day to my amazing Dad! You are such a wonderful man. You have always been my hero, I look up to you more then words can explain. You are so full of wisdom, you are so strong, and caring. You have always been the best example to me. You have taught me so much in my life, I will always take your words to heart. My kids are so lucky to have a grandpa like you. Thank you so much for everything you do for us. We love you so much!

Fun Sunday Afternoon and Seven year Anniversary!!

Bobby and I celebrated our Seven year Anniversary on Sunday! We already went to Las Vegas so we didn't really plan anything. My Mom and Dad were so kind to have us over for dinner.
