We started Memorial Day off by going up to Grandma Ruby's house in Brigham City. She had a nice lunch for us (like she always does). My Dad and Mom were doing some yardwork for her. Then Statton found a football, and of course Grandpa had to start playing with him. While Grandma Ruby and Mom continued working!

After all that we headed to the Brigham City cemetery. Trae (grandpa Harper) is buried there. His headstone looked so good with all the pretty flowers.
Tried to get a family picture, but Statton was to busy looking at everything that was going on!Memorial Day is a great day to get together with your family and visit loved ones who have passed on. I thought about Grandma and Grandpa Simkins, I wish I was closer to where they were buried so I could put flowers on their grave. Grandma and Grandpa Whitener have the honor of being in the Arlington Cemetery, hopefully one day we will be able to visit there. I also thought of the troops who are serving for our country to make it safe for us. They are so brave.
